Privacy, in plain words
Last updated October 10, 2026. This describes the site as it runs today. Before paid family accounts open, a lawyer reviews it and the operator's legal name and postal address are added here.
The short version
Kids never create accounts, never enter an email, and never see ads. The free games save progress in the browser. We run our own anonymized analytics so we can find bugs, stop abuse of the reward system, and see which pages help parents. We do not sell or share personal information with anyone, and no advertising network or third-party tracker is loaded on any page a child plays on.
The free games
Saved in your browser. Scores, coins, kitty collection, child nicknames and ages you enter in the parent area, prize lists and the parent PIN are stored in your browser's local storage. They never reach our servers. Clearing browser data clears them. Export and import to move them.
What the game page sends us. When the game page opens, it sends one event to our own server: the page name, the time the tab stayed open, the site you came from (domain and path, never the full address), any campaign tags in the link you clicked, and your country as reported by our hosting provider. A random id lives in the tab for that visit only and is gone when the tab closes, so we cannot recognise the same child across days. We keep no IP address and no device fingerprint. We use this to count plays and catch broken pages, nothing else.
The parent bar. The game page shows a small bar for parents with a link back to this site and an optional email field. Entering an email is a parent's choice; we use it to send news about this product and nothing else, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
Our analytics
What we record on this site. Page views, which links and buttons get clicked, how far people scroll, how long a page stays open, where visitors came from, and the device class (phone, tablet, desktop) and browser family. On marketing pages a random id in your browser lets us count returning visitors; it is not tied to your name or email and you can clear it by clearing site data. We also use Vercel Web Analytics on marketing pages, which is cookieless and discards its hashed identifier within 24 hours. The one cookie on this site is the parent login session set by Clerk; it exists only after a parent signs in and is never set on the kid pages.
What we never record. Your IP address (our server drops it), your full browser string, anything typed into a field, a child's name, or any identifier that follows you to other sites. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any ad-network tag anywhere on this site.
Why. To fix what breaks, to see which pages actually help a parent decide, and to detect reward farming and bots. Nothing here is used to build a profile of a child or to show anyone an ad.
Do Not Track. Our analytics do not identify you, so we treat every visitor the same regardless of the browser's Do Not Track setting. We do not respond to it separately.
Emails you give us
Parents may leave an email on the waitlist, the reserve-a-price button, the game page bar, or the feedback form. We store the email, the date, the page it came from, your country, and anything you typed into the form. We use it to reply to you and to tell you about this product. Unsubscribe any time; write to us and we delete it.
The family edition
What we will store about a child. A first name or nickname, a grade, which questions they answered, how fast, and whether they were right, and the coins and rewards they earned and spent. That is the whole list. It exists so the parent dashboard, review scheduling and the reward ledger work.
Children's privacy (COPPA). Only a parent or guardian creates the account. Before any child is added we show the parent a direct notice of what we collect and why, and we treat the purchase, made with a payment card, as the parent's verifiable consent. Parents can review, export, and delete every record about their child from the dashboard, or by writing to us, and can withdraw consent at any time, which deletes the child's data. We collect no more than the dashboard needs and we never condition a child's play on giving more.
Retention. Child practice data is kept while the family account is active. When a parent deletes a child or the account, that child's records are deleted within 30 days, and backups expire within 90 days. Analytics events are kept for 13 months, then deleted. Emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Who processes data for us. Vercel (hosting and analytics), Neon (database), Stripe (payments; we never see card numbers), and, when accounts open, Clerk (parent login) and an email provider for the weekly summary. Each works under a contract that limits them to running our service.
Your rights, wherever you live
Ask us what we hold about you or your child, get a copy, correct it, or have it deleted, and we will do it within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. The service is offered in the United States; if you use it from elsewhere, the same promises apply.
Security
Everything travels over HTTPS. Parent logins will use a dedicated identity provider with passkeys and two-factor options. Child data sits in a database only our application can reach. If we ever have a breach that affects you, we tell you directly and promptly.
Changes and contact
When this page changes in a way that matters, we email account holders and update the date at the top. The fastest way to reach us is the feedback page. A dedicated privacy email and postal address will be listed here before paid accounts open.
